Educational Objectives, Foundational Competencies, and Core Competencies of the School of Nursing, Mackay Medical College

The School of Nursing comprises undergraduate, master's, and two-year in-service bachelor's degree programs.

Given the diversity of these programs, the School has established distinct educational objectives for each: the undergraduate program trains entry-level nursing personnel; the master's program focuses on cultivating Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs); and the two-year in-service bachelor's program emphasizes professional enhancement and continuing education for practicing nurses.
