In 1998, the Department of Nursing was established with Ministry of Education approval, admitting an inaugural class of 40 students.
In the 2014 academic year, a two-year in-service program was added to the Department of Nursing, admitting one class of 40 students annually. (Admissions were suspended with Ministry approval in the 2016 academic year and resumed with Ministry approval in the 2020 academic year.)
In the 2018 academic year, the Department of Nursing expanded to two classes, admitting a total of 80 students annually.
In the 2023 academic year, a master's program was added to the Department of Nursing.
The College of Nursing was established on August 1, 2025.
